Tony Fordham spent one year researching various franchise options, until the Lockrite franchise opportunity caught his eye.

“I joined the LockRite team and launched my franchise on 13th February 2017. This was after a year of researching the brand and franchise options. After having an initial meeting going through details and figures, I set out to see if it was worth the investment (as it is a substantial one) it all seemed too good to be true and I was waiting to find a fault… I didn’t find one!

I weighed up the options of investing in the LockRite franchise or to go it alone, after meeting the team and seeing the well-developed infrastructure put in place it made the decision a whole lot easier for me to make.

After going through my 5 week intensive training, which I will add from the practical too accounts was top class! I was itching to get out there to earn some money, as by now I hadn’t taken a wage for two months. The whole time through training I was assured I would be earning from day one, I was dubious as I know in any new business it takes time but just as the team said from week one my income exceeded expectations!

At times it’s been hard work and very demanding but as long as you’re willing to make it work, it will! This is all without me personally having to put out a substantial advertising/marketing campaign (I’m not sure I could find the time to fit any more work in if I did).

After a year in business and nearly 800 jobs later I still stand by my decision 100%. with the continued support, joint teamwork and progression I’m confident this will stay the same throughout my five year term.
