The Oggy Oggy Pasty Company is a family-run business based in the historic Cornish town of Penzance. Established over twenty years ago, our franchise now stretches across the southwest of England. Our franchise is centred on the iconic, popular Cornish pasty, and is comprised of more than twenty cafés and takeaways, offering a variety of traditional and speciality pasties, sausage rolls, pork pies, cakes, Danishes, doughnuts, tea, coffee, and more.
Our pasty takeaways and coffee shops have become well known in the West Country as friendly, bustling establishments, which not only sell high-quality pasties, but are also the heart of the towns in which they are based.
Franchising With Us
The Oggy Oggy Cornish Pasty Company is inviting franchisees to join our already popular brand as we expand throughout the West Country and Southern England. The Cornish pasty is at the heart of our business, but we offer wide scope for franchisees to individualise their shops to sell an additional range of foods, such as sandwiches and baguettes, or pastries and cakes.
We are currently only franchising in the South and South West of England.
Our Support
Our franchise is supported by a strong team with many years of retail experience. They are always on hand to offer franchisees the advice and help that they need. The franchise team visits whichever town you are interested in franchising in, and advises on the optimum location to open an Oggy Oggy Cornish Pasty shop.
The team helps in negotiations with agents or landlords to secure you the best possible lease, and to aid in the setting up of the shop.
Costs and Returns
The start-up cost for a standalone takeaway unit is from £25,000, with a larger unit with a coffee shop starting from £45,000. This includes all Oggy Oggy Cornish Pasty company signage, price displays and menus. It also includes an initial supply of company uniforms, documentation, training and ongoing support. The one-off franchise fee giving you the right to trade under the Oggy Oggy brand is £9,950.
