Company Overview

Established in 2006, Utilitywise is an energy and water cost management consultancy. We help our commercial clients better procure, monitor, manage and reduce their electricity, gas and water requirements. Our clients are based throughout the UK and Europe, across a variety of industry sectors and the public sector, ranging in size from small single-site customers to large multi-site end users. Utilitywise PLC has made several acquisitions since its AIM listing in 2012 and currently employs around 950 staff.

Franchise Overview

Utilitywise has expanded in every year of our history and in 2013-2014 we grew by 36%; yet with less than a 2% UK market share there is still a huge opportunity out there for us. With over 2 million UK businesses as prospective clients there is great potential to set up and run your very own Utilitywise franchise business. You find and manage the clients and we deal with the utility companies and the contracts.

Training

Our two-week intensive induction program involves work in a classroom setting and in-field, covering all elements of operating a Utilitywise franchise. We’ll discuss key aspects of energy sales, technical terms used and our CRM system, TESLA. Additionally, we provide training on related topics, such as running a small business. Our field team will spend up to another 10 days with you in your territory during your first year.

Daily Life of a Franchisee

You will be working with business of all sizes from single-site users to large multi-site organisations. You’ll build new relationships through calls, direct marketing, meetings and networking events in order to sell the Utilitywise product and service ranges. Establishing relationships with prospective clients can involve long lead times so you’ll have the support of our specially designed CRM system to track your full sales process.
