Cancer Survivor Gets New Lease of Life

Cancer Survivor Gets New Lease of Life

With more than 15 years’ experience as a business analyst specialising in the IT industry, local cancer survivor, Kalpesh Bhayani, has beaten the odds and turned to entrepreneurship as he launches new domestic housekeeping franchise business, Bright & Beautiful Northampton.

Bright & Beautiful Franchise

In 2013, Kalpesh was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia (AML) which left him wheelchair bound and with multiple organ failure. He defied the odds and beat the disease in 2014 and with this second opportunity at life, a newfound determination to take control of his destiny was ignited.

Kalpesh wanted a new challenge and business opportunity in a growing sector where he could apply his extensive knowledge and skillset gained from his time as a business analyst. He began extensively researching franchise opportunities in his area and, after attending an open day and meeting the team, Kalpesh was sold on starting his own Bright & Beautiful business.

Launched on 30th October, Kalpesh will be accompanied by his trusted team of three local professional housekeepers and a quality training supervisor, all of whom have been carefully selected, referenced and DBS checked, and working in teams to ensure reliability and client peace of mind. Kalpesh will be supported by his family, in particular his two teenage girls who will play an active role in marketing the business through social media. The team deliver a bespoke and tailored service that offers cleaning, tidying, laundry and ironing to the highest standards of security and service and only use eco-friendly products and equipment to ensure they protect the health of their clients, their children and the team.

Excited for the launch of his new business, Kalpesh said: “Living with cancer was a horrendous time for my family and I, but pushing through that tough period really gave me a new lease of life and a determination to make a successful business. I’d always wanted to own my own business so finding Bright & Beautiful felt like the perfect opportunity to fulfil that lifelong ambition.

“Having had experience of hiring a professional housekeeping service in the past, I understand the difference a clean home can make, particularly for busy families. I’m so excited to provide that ‘happy home’ feeling to clients across Northamptonshire and to deliver a first-class service that’s at the heart of the community.”

Based in the heart of Northampton, Bright & Beautiful covers Wootton, Hardingstone, Moulton, Higham Ferrers, Billing, Wellingborough, Wollaston, Mears Ashby, Sywell, Overstone, Great Houghton, Little Houghton, Castle Ashby, Boughton, Denton, Yardley Hastings and surrounding areas. It is part of a national network of 65+ franchisees building their own local business, creating over 800 jobs and delivering more than 10,000 home cleans per month.
