Following its best ever year, Card Connection, has today announced the appointment of Robina Every as its new managing director. Every, who will celebrate her tenth anniversary with Card Connection this month, takes over the day-to-day running of the organisation from company founder Simon Hulme who moves into the role of chairman.

Card Connection further strengthens its management team with the promotion of industry specialist, Natalie Turner from the role of junior director to a main board creative director. Previously, senior product manager at the company, Turner expands her existing responsibilities to include active contribution to the wider development of the company.

To accommodate its continued growth plans the company is also currently recruiting for an additional sales and franchise director and franchise manager.

“This is an exciting time for Card Connection,” confirms Robina Every, managing director of Card Connection. “We have seen significant growth in the greeting card industry over the past few years and we now have the opportunity to capitalise on this market further, through the innovative, complementary new product launches – specifically exploring the impulse gift sector.”

“However, I see my main role as the driving force to assist our network of franchisees throughout the UK and Ireland expand their businesses,” continues Every. “We plan further improvements to our field training and programmes in addition to providing more assistance to help franchisees work more closely with our network of national retail accounts to increase the profitability of their franchises still further.”
