Nicola Pomroy – Field Care Supervisor, Caremark (Aylesbury & Wycombe)

Caremark Limited put forward Nicola Pomroy, a Field Care Supervisor recently promoted from the Care and Support Worker team, for the Care Newcomer Award and have been informed that Nicola has been shortlisted for the Award!

Nicola recently went to Brighton, in Sussex, where she had to attend a short interview by a panel of independent Judges representing the social care sector. The Judges asked Nicola a series of questions about her role and she submitted a 50 word biography for inclusion in the souvenir programme on the evening.

This is what Nicola had to say : “I have two children and four grandchildren. Hobbies include gardening and riding my motorbike, camping and rallies. I live with my partner Stan and two cats.

My job is fulfilling and rewarding. I love challenges and keeping busy. I believe that good home care is an important contribution to giving people choice and control over their own lives.”

Caremark (Aylesbury and Wycombe) are now excitedly awaiting the Gala Awards Dinner which will be held at the Brighton Dome on 25th November 2011.
