A new face has joined the franchise development team at the national office of Home Instead Senior Care in Warrington, Cheshire. Caroline Kanso has been appointed as New Business Performance Manager providing help and guidance for new franchisees as they set up and develop their Home Instead business.

Caroline who was born in Paris has a strong background in business and project management. She has most recently worked at the Cooperative bank as relationship banking manager for social enterprise, credit unions and community groups.

She came to Home Instead Senior Care as she really wanted to do something which had meaning and also social impact. Caroline explains: “Working at Home Instead gives me the opportunity to both mentor our enthusiastic new franchise owners, and help them to provide quality home care to older people across the UK. I have experienced issues that older people can face, not only personally with my own family, but also when I was a volunteer in Ecuador where I was a translator helping people to read and write. One day an elderly lady said to me the work you are doing is fantastic, but could you help me to get some glasses or could you write in bigger letters, I can’t see so well at my age!”

In her spare time Caroline going to the cinema and socialising, she has a number of French friends living over in the UK which helps her keep her hand in with the language!
