This year, the Leeds branch of the HCPT charity (formerly called the Handicapped Children’s Pilgrimage Trust) had a new colourful marching banner for their annual Easter pilgrimage to Lourdes, thanks to the team at FASTSIGNS.

The HCPT take over 2000 children with physical and learning difficulties from all over the UK every year to the world famous shrine at the foot of the Pyrenees. Chris and Andy Simpson, owners of the FASTSIGNS sign and graphics centre in York Road donated the banner free of charge.

Said Chris Simpson: “We consider ourselves to be very much a part of the local community and try to help charities wherever we can. I organise a pilgrimage to Lourdes myself for the sick and elderly every other year so I know how uplifting and uniting it can be. We’re delighted to be able to showcase our work in this way and help a worthwhile cause at the same time.”
