Husse has had a great year so far, bringing in multiple franchisees and new customers all around the UK.

All of the Husse franchisees have remained focused on providing the highest quality service while following safety protocols throughout the pandemic. This has really showcased our passion to giving the best experience to all our customers. This first class service along with our 100% natural 5 star product has meant multiple referrals from happy customers meaning franchisees have been able to increase their network substantially. Altogether Husse has seen exceptional growth throughout the franchise during the year with franchisees seeing online sales increase by up to 70%.

Increase in Pet Owners

The UK throughout the Covid-19 period has seen a rapid increase in pet owners. This may be due to the social distancing and lock-downs set up across the country to limit the spread of the Virus, The public has turned to ‘Man’s best friend’ to lift the mood within the household. Battersea dogs home reported a 50% increase in dogs & Cats sold in March and the beginning of April, Wood Green animal charity have seen an increase in 1000% of enquiries for new pets. This in turn has led to many supermarket analysers to predict and increase in up to 8% in pet product consumption across the UK.

Home Delivery

Husse has been keeping to our promise of outstanding delivery service through the 2020. With lockdown restrictions effecting everyday life more and more of the public have been turning to online services to get their everyday needs. Pet food customers have been looking online for the best pet food services and Husse with our award winning product and quick delivery service throughout the UK has meant an increase in online sales up to 70% since this time last year. All our franchisees have been wearing their masks and following safety procedures to allow for safe delivery and customer appreciation.

Paws in the Park

Although our franchisees have continued to attend small events and local markets regularly they have been itching to get back out to bigger pet shows and events since lockdown and our wish was granted with not one but two Paws in the park dog shows, one in Kent over the September 19th weekend, The next in Sussex over the October 10th Weekend. The shows brought together Dog owners and lovers from the South of England for fun events and stalls. Husse had a large stand at both shows. We had attendants from Head office as well as all our local franchisees. We provided our award winning samples and nutritional advice to all dog lovers at the show.

Denise & Colin Edwards – Husse Worthin

Denise, previously owned and managed a domestic cleaning franchise which was sold in 2019, day to day operation including sales and employee management. Prior to this was a primary school teacher for several years, after raising our two children. Looking for a recession proof business that can be easily run from home and that we can hopefully run through to retirement. A business in something we love, i.e. pets – we have 2 dogs and a cat, is something that will jointly challenge, excite and motivate.

Colin, was the ‘back office’ part of the domestic cleaning franchise – accounts, marketing etc, alongside a career as a freelance IT consultant. As the IT work reduces, looking forward to getting involved in all aspects of the Husse franchise. Jointly we love our pets – Ruby our miniature schnauzer and Oona our wauzer (westie/miniature schnauzer cross), love travelling, being grandparents. We are really looking forward to being part of the Husse family.

Sue & Cath – Husse Tynesid

Covid-19 lockdown got Cath and Sue thinking about what they really wanted from their careers. They both enjoy meeting people particularly those who share their love of animals and pets. They were looking for a fresh challenge that would allow them to use their strengths in building customer relationships, providing good customer service and applying sales and marketing skills to their own business.

Husse provided the perfect opportunity – a franchise with experienced support from experts, high quality Scandinavian pet products that offer improved quality of life and longevity for pets combined with personalised customer service, nutritional advice and home delivery of the pet food.
