Sharon Galbraith, Care and Support worker with Caremark (Redditch and Bromsgrove) has been selected as a finalist for the Great British Care Awards.
Sharon recently went to Birmingham’s International Convention Centre where she met the three Care Awards judges. Sharon had to answer many questions about her life as a care worker including one tricky question which was: “If you had a magic wand, what would you like to do?”
After a moment of careful thought, Sharon responded by saying that she would like to see customers having more calls from care workers, if it was needed and more time to spend with the customers when they were there.
As well as speaking to the judges, Sharon had her photo taken and was asked to prepare a 50 word biography for the Awards Evening in October.
Caremark (Redditch and Bromsgrove) are crossing fingers and toes for her!
