Q: What experience do you bring with you to the Franchise?

A: I realise the value of my 20 years’ experience in banking, accounting and customer service, I’m a great believer in lifelong learning and always pushing myself.

Q: What attracted you to the DNS Accountants Franchise?

A: The resources available to help Franchisees achieve their business goals; the initial training, the support, the software…. attracted me immediately. The franchise infrastructure means you’re immediately set to get on with building your business. I certainly did my research thoroughly. Q: What experience do you come with that prepares you for your role?

A: As women, I believe we should never undermine our task as the mothers. Having the children has meant that I’ve honed my multi-tasking skills, powers of negotiation and patience! Serving my community as the Post Office owner of a busy Post Office is a role in which I’ve learnt to keep a very orderly yet flexible workflow which is all part of my experience in the PO, the banking sector and in retail will be a great asset to the individuals and businesses who seek to work with my office in Bournemouth. I am a good communicator and an effective manager of people, which will stand me in good stead.

I know that my clients will rely on me to reassure, serve and steer them through this difficult time. For my staff, I will need to be that face of the new-on-the-scene local accounting practice, and be ready to encourage them to pull together with me to meet the unprecedented challenges financially, legislatively, emotionally, and to grasp the opportunities that this brings too.

Q: What are your other attributes?

I am honest, loyal, hardworking and a great believer in growing an asset for my family’s future. My investment and commitment, my determination will help me achieve personal success, seize opportunities, and nurture personal life goals. Personal and corporate compliance, adaptability, determination, personal aspiration, emotional intelligence and a head for business and figures are the sort of attributes I know the DNS Accountants Franchise supports, in fact, these are at the very heart of the DNS Accountants Franchise ethos.

Q: And what is your ultimate goal?

I have no doubt that in 5 years’ time I will be the owner of a flourishing accountancy practice and helping as many clients as I can do so. I realise how important having an accountant you can trust is for someone who has no clue about how accountancy works or what running a business entails. I want to be on hand for my clients when they need me and to provide them the best service I can.
