Middlesex home care provider, Caremark (Barnet & Enfield) welcomed their latest group of new Care Workers as they embarked on the Care Certificate training under the watchful eye of their Care Manager, Chris Thomas.
The training was progressing well as the group were still smiling at the end of Day One!
The Care Certificate, which Caremark launched on 1st April 2015 in line with the expectation of the Care Quality Commission for social care providers and Skills for Care replaces the Common Induction Standards for care workers. The Certificate has been produced to address inconsistencies in training and competencies in the workforce.
This new approach can only serve to complement Caremark’s robust training methods for its care staff.
