Welcome to the team! Tell us a bit about yourself?
My name is Sabeena Sheikh. I’ve spent the last 20 years in education, qualifying a couple of years ago as a head teacher. It was a fantastic career that taught me so much. I worked with a great number of people from many walks of life on a huge number of projects.

I’ve been lucky enough to have travelled extensively and worked voluntarily on education projects in South Africa.
 

Why did you decide to go into business?
Wanting to spend more time with my family made me decide that a home based business and doing something that I really love was what I needed at this point in my life.
 

What does becoming a SmartPA Partner mean to you?
Becoming a SmartPA Partner means that I can balance my life, take care of the people around me and operate in a fulfilling work environment.

As a SmartPA Partner, what are you most looking forward to?
I’m really looking forward to learning something new, meeting people, working in the business world and providing a great service to my clients. Providing a great service has always really satisfied me. It’s really important to me.

Who is your hero?
My mum. She is a remarkable woman who always has a positive outlook on life, makes the best of all situations and is always laughing!

What advice would you give you other women considering going into business?
Women need to take the plunge and just do it! Women from all backgrounds have many great qualities and skills that are, invaluable in, and transferable to business. They just need to believe in themselves.
