“We were lucky to welcome someone with Mike Dooley’s experience to the Seniors Helping Seniors team” Christian Wilse says. Opening Seniors Helping Seniors Brighton and Hove in August where he lives with family, Mike brings six and a half year’s experience running a hugely successful elderly care company. Mike started his first care company from scratch and was franchise of the year in 2014.

A seasoned franchisee in Care and Insurance, Mike has recently returned to the UK after some well-earned time off in Costa Rica.
Mike has invested some time into things he loves like his motorcycles, sailing and cycling. He cycled through 24 countries and 12,000 miles from Middlesbrough to Bangkok in the last few years and he has entered the Brighton Marathon with his daughter. He hikes, loves languages and learning new skills but he feels the time is right for him to use his care experience to help people as the country comes out of lockdown and prepares for the future in elderly care.

Mike knows only too well how lucky he is to have a happy and self-sufficient family. More and more families are stressed out about their loved ones and all the implications of C-19. Seeing the special support people have needed during the pandemic, he went looking for a solution that was fit for purpose because he wanted to pitch in and help. He knew elderly care needs to be done differently.

“Seniors Helping Seniors offer the care people need at a fair price. The simplicity of flat fees is really important because people need to budget for long term and I love everything about the carer policies of the brand. Seniors Helping Seniors pays carers properly and supports them fully. Carers work when it suits them and we are allowed to give the time needed to each client and treat each person as an individual, matching staff with the relevant life experience, interests and personality. This is very special and it is a breath of fresh air compared to traditional in home care companies.”

Seniors Helping Seniors is highly recommended. It’s award-winning customer service gave people peace of mind and kept people safe and well throughout the pandemic. Mike is employing carers in Brighton and Hove now and he can be reached on 01273 090848.

Financially, time-wise and what it means for the day to day concentration on point of care, Mike knows the positives that come with being ‘out of scope with the CQC’ and the impact for his business.

He and Christian Wilse signed Mike’s franchise agreement at the height of lockdown. The agreement and training process has been adapted for social distancing and the deal was sealed with an elbow-bump instead of the Seniors Helping Seniors customary handshake and hugs.
