There’s nothing the SmartPA team love more than getting out there and sharing the SmartPA story. In a world dominated by technology, we jump at the opportunity to meet people and businesses face-to-face! If you’ve been keeping an eye on our social media then you’ll know we were in Manchester recently at the BFA British Franchise Exhibition, doing just that.

Day 1 began with us wearily hitting the road at 5am but after some breakfast and several coffees we were raring to go. Once we arrived, we had a rather important contract to sign – our FranchisingWorks and BFA accreditation! We then made our way to the SmartPA stand where we felt rather overdressed – the exhibitors next to us were wearing sheep costumes…

Throughout the day, we not only met people who were interested in becoming SmartPA Partners but people who wish to enlist our executive PA, secretarial and administrative services. We were ecstatic that so many of our visitors had made the journey to Manchester especially to see us, such as Preetam from McDonalds. We were also blown away by existing clients who had travelled to the exhibition just to say hello to us – a big thanks to them!

The day ended with a BFA hosted event in the Exhibitor’s lounge and it was a great chance to mingle with like-minded business people and industry leaders. We were delighted to meet BBC Apprentice finalist Neil Clough who was speaking at the event. He hit it off immediately with co-founder Andrew Wright and was so impressed with SmartPA, he has decided to use our services to support his business.

With the first day successfully under our belts, we had only one thing on our mind – food! After a lovely meal, we made our way back to the hotel and turned in for the night.

The next day, the SmartPA team were feeling refreshed and ready for round 2. Once again we hosted a stream of visitors at the SmartPA stand who were interested in our Franchise opportunities and support services. A number of entrepreneurs sought us out for expert advice regarding their own businesses and how to franchise. SmartPA are always keen to help small businesses develop and grow – if we can help, we will.

We loved the event and met so many inspiring business people. We were thrilled with the reaction SmartPA received and how excited people are to become part of the SmartPA Partner family.
