Snap Fitness, the 24-hour gym, has plans to open 34 more clubs in 2018 after opening six new sites last January.

The Snap Fitness brand reached 44 locations by Christmas, and shows no signs of slowing down. In 2015, the expansion process began with 5 new clubs and 21 more were developed last Christmas.

Isaac Buchanan, Snap Fitness CEO, stated: “There are no signs of us slowing down in 2018. Our growth is largely driven from our franchisees – we have some of the best franchisees in the UK, without a doubt. We expect another 34 clubs to open before the end of the year, with all projections marking 2018 as our best year to date.”

Snap Fitness clubs are dotted all over the UK, in locations such as St Austell to Aberdeen, and the clubs range from 4,000 to 10,000 square feet in size. Each gym includes instructor-led fitness groups and functional training areas.

The franchises’s London headquarters has doubled in size to support the growth, with a new property acquisitions team being established, as well as a marketing manager and a learning and development manager.

Globally, Snap Fitness has more than 2,000 clubs in 18 countries.
