Supporting Franchise Growth

The Photography for Little People franchise is growing month on month, spreading throughout the UK and Scotland.

Photography for Little People Franchise

The day is filling up fast for our introduction courses and specialised team workshops. To deal with this positive growth, changes within the team have been made. We have had to call upon our most experienced and youngest franchise owner, Simona Boycheva.

Simona is our youngest and most successful Photography for Little People franchisee. Simona started her baby photography business in 2013, soon after graduating from University of Greenwich. Soon after starting her business in Essex she quickly expanded to the whole of East London.

She is now stepping up and supporting the franchise. We sat down with Simona to ask her some key questions about her growing franchise business!

Tell us a little about yourself, your franchise business and how you started?

I’ve always been a girl with a passion for photography. To me family portraits are the most precious thing in the world! I never thought I would have a career in photography doing what I love until I found Photography for Little People.

I started my photography business back in 2013, soon after graduating from University of Greenwich in London. I was trained in the art of newborn safety in photography, family posing and more. The training gave me the confidence to establish myself as an expert newborn and family photographer in my area. With all the mentoring, help and support from the franchise, I quickly expanded and now own and operate in two areas. Being able to see how far I’ve come over the last 5 years and all the progress I have made in growing my franchise only encourages me to work closer with the franchise owners to grow my business to its full potential.

What is the PLP franchise like to work with?

You can feel the warm and loving environment. Everyone is super friendly and it truly feels like being part of a family. The PLP franchise is my business home, a place where I can talk babies and photography knowing that I will be understood.

What do you feel you do to make your franchise expand and succeed?

I always strive to improve in every aspect of my business. Providing second to none customer service is in the core of my business. I want the families that I work with to feel comfortable around me, I build that trust and relationship with them. After all, they are expected to hand me the most precious thing in their life, their newborn baby, and I want them to feel confident that they’ve made the right choice.

Are you looking forward to your challenge of working with the franchise?

Absolutely! I am very excited to be mentoring and training our new franchisees and I will pass on everything that the PLP franchise has taught me so far.

What will be your role?

I will be mentoring some of our new franchisees, giving them guidance and support in the day to day running of their businesses. I will also be running training workshops in photography, as a refresher to our initial training franchisees to improve their photography and baby posing skills. Newborn photography requires much more than just knowing how to work your camera. Baby safety and comfort during a session is always our top priority.

What do you hope to bring to the PLP franchise training?

A positive attitude that we can achieve anything together. When starting your own business it can sometimes feel lonely. The great thing about a PLP franchise is that you are not on your own!
