After nearly ten years providing tax and accountancy services to the small business community in South London, Bruce Burrowes has expanded his TaxAssist Accountants franchise by opening his third shop.

“The Surbiton shop has been adding value to businesses in Kingston for many years so it seemed like the right time to open a shop in Kingston itself. I’m hoping it will make it easier for local small businesses to pop in on their breaks and get the support and advice they need from us,” said Bruce Burrowes.

Ian Blake, a senior accountant who has worked at the Surbiton shop for over two years, will now head up the Kingston shop. Following the third office opening, Bruce has also employed two trainees who are both studying for their accountancy qualifications.

“We have hard-working staff in all three shops who all have great expertise within accountancy,” said Bruce. “We re-located the Wimbledon shop last year into a more central location and have seen a strong and continuing demand. I’m confident the prime spot on Richmond Road will do the same in Kingston.”

The shop front opened on May 3rd and Bruce celebrated with an official opening party for local businesses and residents on June 30th.

There are now over 200 TaxAssist franchises operating from over 250 shops and offices around the UK, and in the last year over 13,800 small businesses said “yes” to becoming a client of a TaxAssist Accountant.
