Tutortoo is not a traditional tuition franchise as it offers much ‘more than just tuition’.

It is a unique management franchise in the supplemental education sector as it provides three methods of generating substantial income: tuition, training courses and holiday clubs.

The master franchisee will:

• Receive extensive training to be able to own and operate both a franchise and the master franchise.
• Be provided with full access to the Tutortoo franchise programme to adapt to the requirements of their own country.
• Recruit, award and resell franchises within their exclusive master franchise territory.
• Operate their own franchise with exclusive rights in their territory.

Master franchise licence fees start from £140,000 and the master franchisee will also require £30,000 working capital. The Master Franchise licence fee is calculated on the number of potential franchise territories within the master franchise territory. The working capital includes the cost of localising the franchise and start-up costs.

As a master franchisee, you are responsible for the day to day operation of your own Tutortoo franchise, as well as the sale of franchises to prospective franchisees and providing ongoing training and support for those franchisees. Both are management roles.

We are looking for people who:

• Can evidence a successful business background in sales and management.
• Have excellent communication skills.
• Have the tenacity to drive the business forward and to work hard.
• Can lead a team and also work well independently.
• Are ethical and honest.
• Have previous experience in franchising (ideal).
• Are entrepreneurial.

As a master franchisor, you will receive 65% of the franchise fee (£13,000) for each franchise sold in your master franchise territory. You will also take 65% of the monthly management service fee paid by each franchisee (average £7,800 per franchisee per year).

The demand for supplemental education services is ongoing, with the global tuition market alone set to reach £175bn by 2022, according to Global Industry Analysts Inc. Parents are always looking to improve their children’s life chances through additional education and this industry is definitely one of the few recession proof industries available.
