Yesterday The Wheel Specialist had its 4th annual conference, year on in the network grows extensively, so it’s a great opportunity for each branch young and old to get together, chew the cud, chat over new ideas share and steal shamelessly ideas that work, why reinvent the wheel!

As a rule recognition is underplayed in the workforce, but our Head Office does a great job of honouring performance with annual awards, recognising several key performance indicators.

We have during our five years won several of awards, but this year we were delighted to have won the Best Sales and Marketing 2012 plus the Best overall Branch 2012 – we are thrilled!

It has been a struggle at times over the past few years, but heads down, shirt sleeves pushed further up the arms and on we got! I have been overheard stating that the only reason The Wheel Specialist Fareham would fail is because we would let it fail …this is NOT an option.

There have been a couple of occasions in our lives’ that the only two ingredients required were sheer determination and belief that we can do this, clearly the powers that be recognised our efforts and all was not in vain!!

It does sound a bit of a cliché but, ‘you can if you think you can’. The Wheel Specialist Fareham has a renewed vigour, a plethora of cracking ideas, campaign and products to be shouting about throughout 2013 – roll on the next few months…the first exciting aspect of our week is we are interviewing for an additional member of staff – oh how we love progression!
