Each year Bangor Elim Social Action Team provides a Christmas meal, a night of entertainment and presents to over 100 vulnerable people in their local community. The guests invited to the festive meal include local older adults, those supported by the Simon Community and people with learning difficulties.

This year the Bangor based care provider sponsored the Christmas meal for all the guests. Some of Caremark’s own clients got the opportunity to attend the occasion supported by a few of Caremark’s staff.

Client Mr Ruddock’s wife commented: “My husband and I had an absolutely fantastic night. We haven’t had a night out in years and the only reason I ventured out to this was because I knew Caremark’s carers where going to be there. To be able to sit and have my own dinner while Rachel, one of the Caremark carers helped my husband was just wonderful and such a treat for me. It was a first class night and such a caring thing too by Caremark.”
