Leading greeting card publisher and franchisor, Card Connection, has today announced that its network of franchisees is now able to supply a new selection of greeting cards to mark the Muslim celebrations of Eid.

In in addition new designs for Diwali, the five-day Hindu festival of lights, have also been made available to enhance the extensive range of more than 1,500 quality greeting cards Card Connection franchisees have to offer retailers across the UK.

“Card Connection’s focus is on providing an unparalleled selection of top quality greeting cards which appeal to a wide audience,” confirms Michael Johnson, managing director, Card Connection. “As well as new designs for occasions including Eid and Diwali, we have also introduced cards which appeal to specific communities such as our Welsh language cards. These are already proving particularly popular with Welsh speakers.”

The new range celebrating both Eid and Diwali cover general captions and use a mixture of photographic and also a bright graphic style.

Card Connection is part of UK Greetings, which is a subsidiary of the largest publicly owned greeting card publisher in the world and has limited vacancies for franchisees that are keen to run an expanding business. Suitable candidates would ideally have some management experience as, once established, and depending on the size of the territory, they could be expected to employ a small team, operate a small warehouse and have several liveried vans on the road.

Since the franchise network in the UK is complete, the available opportunities now consist of acquiring an already-established territory from an existing franchisee. These vary in price according to their level of development, but start at £7K + Stock + Card Connection fee with earnings potential in excess of £50k per annum.  

Territories currently available include: Southend-on-Sea, Plymouth, Nottingham/Grantham, Manchester, Cardiff, Southport/Wigan, Macclesfield/Buxton, Dundee/Kirkcaldy and some areas in London.
