Fantastic start for local Caremark home care provider!

Local home care provider, Caremark (Winchester & Eastleigh) was presented with the ‘Mark of Excellence Award’ at the Caremark Limited 5th Annual Conference held recently at the Hellidon Lakes Hotel in Northamptonshire.

The Mark of Excellence Award was one of 3 top awards amongst a total of 10, presented in recognition of a franchisee who has demonstrated a consistent and committed approach to excellence within all aspects of their business over the last year, evidenced within their most recent inspection report.

Sean Cragg, International Development Director, Caremark International and Craig Henthorn, Managing Director Caremark Ltd., presented the award to Calum Gray, Managing Director of Caremark (Winchester & Eastleigh).

“To receive the ‘Mark of Excellence’ Award was both a thrill and a surprise. There is no doubt whatsoever that the award is recognition for a huge team effort over the past 12 months during which Caremark (Winchester & Eastleigh) welcomed Mandy Wills (Care Manager), Dan Langridge (Care Coordinator) and Iona Stevens (Field Care Supervisor).

“Their performance, along with that of our superb Care and Support Workers, led not only to this award but also to an excellent Care Quality Commission inspection report of which we are all very proud! Through 2012 we aim to build on our growing reputation for providing the highest quality of care” said Calum Gray.

Conference 2012 focused on making a difference through the provision of the highest standards of Care. Some 60 delegates gathered for an inspiring and uplifting day of workshops and presentations, centering around both business strategies as well as the delivery of a high quality, compassionate care service and the impact that would have on both an individual as well as their families.

Sean Cragg, International Development Director, said “Calum started the year facing many challenges but through recruiting a new and dynamic team he has made huge strides in his business, culminating in an excellent CQC report”.

Caremark (Winchester & Eastleigh) is part of a nationwide franchise network of offices, providing home care and support services to older people in their homes and communities.
