The iconic Twickenham Stadium, the home of England rugby, provided a suitable venue for business partners Manuel Dias and Vijay Arockiyasamy to ‘kick off’ their new careers as the latest Junk Hunters franchisees.

“We thought that being at a venue that you associate with winners was appropriate, as we intend to ensure that Junk Hunters wins business locally,” said Manuel.

So what enticed the partners to invest in what could be described as a ‘rubbish business’?

“We were attracted to franchising because of the high success rate of franchised businesses versus stand alone start ups” said Vijay. “We looked at a number of options and Junk Hunters appealed as, although it is still early days for the brand, we were impressed by how professional they are”. “Everything is included in the initial launch package” added Manuel.

“From the eye catching livery on the truck to a sweeping brush all we have to do is put on the corporate work wear (which is also supplied) and get started.”

“Their range of marketing materials designed to help promote our business is superb and the online booking system which means that customers can book our service at any time of the day or night is a major benefit to us.” said Vijay. “We are confident that our service will ‘score points’ with both local business and domestic customers,” concluded Manuel.
