Local home care provider, Caremark (Winchester & Eastleigh) has recently received a heart- warming letter of thanks from the family of a loved one to whom they provide care and support.

Caremark (Winchester & Eastleigh) currently participate in Hampshire County Council’s “Take-a Break Scheme” which provides a “sitting service” for customers, thus allowing the family some respite time.

Staff members, Mandy Wills – Care Manager, Iona Stevens – Field Care Supervisor, Daniel Langridge – Care Co-ordinator and Care Worker- Rebecca Martin were all praised in a letter from the customer’s relative, for their helpful and professional approach and for the customer focused and professional care and support that they delivered.

Mr X, the customer’s son said “…As you know, I first spoke with Dan over the telephone who had great customer focus and was open to listening to our needs. Your supervisor, Iona, then came to see me last week and I found her business style to be equally customer focused, helpful and very professional. Yesterday, Rebecca Martin came to sit with Mum whilst my wife and I took a break from our caring role.

“We all liked Rebecca and Mum seemed to get on well with her instantly. My wife and I wanted to express our thanks and appreciation for what Rebecca did to help us all yesterday. Our first experience with working with Caremark has been a positive one and it is comforting to know that you have such considerate and caring people working for you. Thank you so much”.
