Leading pizza franchise, Papa John’s, has announced its latest store opening in Grantham. New franchisee and former insurance loss adjuster Peter Gill has now recruited and trained 20 local staff to deliver Papa John’s pizza to the Lincolnshire community.

Peter Gill explains: “Working in the insurance industry involves meeting lots of clients and I am anticipating my experience in this customer facing role will be helpful managing my Papa John’s franchised store. It is a bit of a career change, but I’ve always wanted to be my own boss and franchising represented a good way forward to achieve my goal and I decided to go for it in Grantham!

“I looked at a number of different franchise options but settled for the food industry as it seems to be less affected by the economic climate than other sectors,” confirms Peter. “I selected Papa John’s as it is a forward thinking company, committed to quality and customer service which are values I try to bring into my every day working life.

“Grantham itself is a great location for Papa John’s,” continues Peter Gill. “There are plans for expansion of the town and yet it is rurally positioned. Previously, for customers to enjoy the Papa John’s experience they would have needed to travel to a major city like Lincoln or Nottingham. Now they can have Papa John’s top quality pizza delivered right to their doorstep!”

Papa John’s is currently recruiting new franchisees across the UK. Papa John’s provides all the necessary training, help with location selection and full turnkey solution to opening the store. Papa John’s is currently running an incentive scheme which includes deals on equipment and reduced franchisees fees to help franchisees in the early stages of set-up.
