Ella Footlights Didsbury Succeeds by 300% From Opening

Ella had decided to go with another Stage School Franchise company and was ready to sign on the dotted line until she found Footlights. She loved what we do here and quickly realised she wanted to be part of the Footlights family.

Ella opened Footlights Didsbury in September 2019, four months later the pandemic hit!

Ella’s dreams of having a full school were seemingly thwarted but she has remained open throughout with our online classes and cannot wait to get back face to face!

We asked Ella what her first day was like:

“It was absolutely crazy and fast paced – just like the opening night of a show. I was nervous and excited at the same time but it went better than expected. You put so much time, work and effort into it in the weeks in the run up to day one, and then it’s all over so quickly. I was absolutely exhausted by the end of the day but ready for more and with a real sense of pride and achievement”.

In 2020 she continued trading online lessons and SOLD out her summer schools, by opening September she was 75% full, in 2021 she grew her business by 300% from opening over the 3 quarter of the year she was open. Ella now has waiting lists and has expanded her school!
