Welcome to the team! Tell us a bit about yourself?

When I left University, I initially wanted to teach but all the jobs I had after I graduated were administrative in nature. Looking back, I’m really glad the way things have worked out. I love to read but I don’t have much time to these days with starting a business and being a mother to two small children. I have however reclaimed my “me” time somewhat as I recently started a daily swimming routine!
 

Why did you decide to go into business?

I truly want to see what my personal capabilities are and just how far I can stretch myself. I’m at the point in my life where I’ve decided I want to set and achieve bigger goals. I feel that business is the perfect platform to create these goals.
 

What does becoming a SmartPA Partner mean to you?

For me it is the definition of ultimate independence whilst having the backing of reliable and constant business support from the market leader.

As a SmartPA Partner, what are you most looking forward to?

I’m really looking forward to the moment when I sign on my first client.

Who is your hero?

My hero is my mother. She has always told me to think positively and taught me that there is no such thing as “I cannot”. My mother is an amazing and extraordinary woman. Long before I started reading motivational books, I had real life inspiration in the form of my mother.

What advice would you give you other women considering going into business?

Find a way to just do it. A friend once told me that there is no such thing as losing, only learning.
