Lou Roger | Husse Franchisee – Perth & Dundee

Husse’s newest franchisee, Lou Roger, discusses her experience of the franchise so far.

Hello all, my name is Lou Roger and I am the new Franchisee for Perth and Dundee in Scotland.

I have been working as a delivery driver with flexible hours which suited our family needs but I always wanted more and when we found the possibility of Husse when investigating Franchises, it almost seemed too good to be true, to be a delivery driver for someone else you rarely get recognized for being helpful, but you are the direct target for whatever the customer doesn’t like even though you have no control over it.

To have the chance to affect not only how the customer receives their product but to be able to help them to get what they really need and advise them of what that might be was very exciting to consider. The big question for me was whether the Husse product was as good as all the reports I had read seemed to say. With that in mind I changed our 4-month-old puppy from the food advised to us by the breeder to Husse just to see if Valp Maxi was as good as I hoped.

I was stunned by the almost immediate effect the change to Valp had shown, his digestive system had a huge improvement, and the amount of waste was much less, his coat became much shinier, but the strangest thing was the decrease in strong smells around the house, from our dog and other areas (waste).

This leapt me over the final hurdle in my decision to become a Franchisee and although I am only just starting and want almost to run before I can walk, every discussion I have with a potential customer gets me all excited and hoping that they are willing to find out how good the products are.

The photo shows my first week at the Biggest Open-air Market in our Franchise area and it was fantastic to see how many people wanted to come and find out what we were offering, unfortunately the weather went downhill after a couple of hours, and we had to close earlier than planned but we will be back again very soon and even more excited.
