Here at Tezlom, we believe that our franchises are a part of the wider Tezlom family. They are a vital part of what makes Tezlom a success and each franchise has its own strengths.

This is why we have decided to introduce a series of ‘meet the franchisee’ style interviews. Through these, each individual franchisee will be given their time to shine; an opportunity to share their unique skills and explain what Tezlom means to them as an individual.

The hope is that this series will be a way of putting faces to each individual franchise and enable others to see that any background or experience level can be turned into a success story.

The second franchisee in our series is Dr Sarb Singh from Hertfordshire. With a background in medicine, Sarb joined Tezlom more than six years ago. He now employs five office workers and approximately 130 regular agency workers.

Q: How did you hear about Tezlom and what was it that appealed to you?

A: I found Tezlom through their website when I was looking online. I arranged an interview with Brian to meet and ask questions at the initial stage. Then, I went to Southport to see Roz and find out a bit more information.

Q: What made you decide to become a Tezlom franchisee?

A: Due to my background and as I was looking for a healthcare franchise. Tezlom fitted perfectly with what I was looking for.

Q: What was your background before Tezlom?

A: By Profession I am Doctor and before Tezlom, I owned a domiciliary franchise. I sold it and bought Tezlom

Q: What do you like most about being a Tezlom franchisee?

A: The People at Southport as it is great to work alongside with them

Q: What would a typical day look like for you?

A: Busy 🙂 I look after the day to day business and I do the business development. I also liaise with existing clients so that we have good relationships with them

Q: Can you give me an example of an achievement or situation you are proud of?

A: Setting up a permanent placement desk and achieving more than 3000 hours in a week

Q: What would your advice be for anyone considering becoming a franchisee?

A: Franchise gives the opportunity to be your own boss. It can give you a perfect work life balance and it is rewarding after a hard day of work.
