Richard, based in the Isle of Wight, took on the franchise for his local area in 2016, and quickly established himself as the biggest and best provider of small-sided football on the island.

After gaining more experience in running leagues, and increasing his leagues further, Richard made the decision to invest further in the business. In early 2017, he took on the Chatham area, which included an existing league which was being managed by Leisure Leagues head office. He began running the league remotely, and was so successful in doing so that he took on the Wrexham and Bury St Edmunds leagues as well!

His excellent work within these areas was recognised by Leisure Leagues at the annual Partner Awards, in which he was awarded the coveted ‘Partner of the Year’.

In 2018, Richard discovered an opportunity not to be missed in the Fareham area, and quickly took on his fifth franchise area. In a few short weeks, he increased the number of teams in the Fareham leagues from 12 to 28.

He now has around 80 active teams overall and is consistently looking for new ways to expand his business.
