After some experimentation, Anne created a masterpiece. Customers kept coming back and asking for “the best pretzel they had ever tasted”. 30 years on and Auntie Anne’s is the largest global soft pretzel chain with nearly 2,000 stores around the world. The brand has been in the UK since 2003 and owned by the current Master Franchisor since 2008, we will have 40 stores open by the end of 2018 and we have strong growth plans for 2019.
We create hand-rolled, freshly baked pretzels in-store that we sell to thousands of our loyal customers every day. We have a wide range of sweet and savoury pretzels plus constantly innovate to bring new twists to the classic pretzel. For example, we have a Pretzel Pizza and Pretzel Breakfast Bun range. We don’t just sell pretzels, we sell happiness; nothing compares to seeing the look on your customer’s face when they bite into their freshly baked pretzel. We also have great add-ons including our old-fashioned lemonade, hot drinks and artisan gelato.

We are looking for franchisees passionate about customer service and the food industry (particularly baking!). We want people who are willing to commit to running their store to our high standards, care about their employees and the brand and have the ambition to drive sales and potentially open more stores in the future.
The total investment to open an Auntie Anne’s store is around £135,000 – £180,000. However, we can put you in touch with our finance broker who may be able to help you raise finance, potentially leaving you with around £40,000 – £70,000 of personal investment.
