This innovation also led to the launch of Recycle Bound, the world’s first driveway made from waste plastic already in circulation (plastic drink bottles, plastic food packaging and straws) from a plastic recycling point. Oltco is the world’s first company to offer this environmentally sustainable solution for homeowners, architects and commercial clients. Each square metre of Recycle Bound consists of the equivalent of 3,000 plastic straws.

Training and support provided
Franchisees are offered support from day one. Oltco’s dedicated Account Managers mentor and help franchisees meet their goals and are there to offer guidance with any technical issues.
As part of the process, franchisees undergo an intensive two-week training course at Oltco’s HQ in Cornwall to learn everything about the business from installation and sales through to company ethos and values.
Continued support is also guaranteed to all franchisees which covers everything from generating and qualifying leads to advertising, invoicing, ordering and after-sales care.

Oltco’s history
Oltco was founded in 2004, operating as a family business selling and installing non-slip solutions for domestic and commercial properties across Cornwall. The business quickly grew from strength to strength and began operating on a national scale, servicing clients across the country with its unique blends and bespoke solutions. Founder and Director, Tom Stringer trained as a mining engineer at Cambourne School of Mines and consequently gained a wealth of technical expertise, with specialist knowledge of epoxy and polyurethane resin coatings and screeds. As a result, Oltco is uniquely positioned at the forefront of resin solutions, offering innovation-led products and unparalleled expertise.
In 2011, John Pearce joined the firm as a Director, raising the profile of the resin-bound gravel side of the business.
