Created by an experienced drama teacher, the classes include original music, movement, drama games and lots of role-play and pretending. There are over 250 different session plans which means that every week children set off on a different adventure! Pyjama Drama takes place in public classes, nurseries, schools and at parties.

Every week we take children on a different journey of the imagination, whether flying to the moon, visiting monkeys in the jungle or helping the king get ready for the royal ball. In addition to the in-house team, Pyjama Drama is also supported by non-exec director Lee Dancy, owner of established franchise business Barking Mad.

We provide our franchisees with comprehensive training and robust ongoing support. At-home pre-training: A series of tasks to prepare youHead office training: 5 days initial training followed by a further 3 days follow-up training 3 months laterOn-site visit: Head office will come out to visit you between 3-6 months12 months: Annual business development review This is underpinned and supported by our ‘Simple Steps’ development programme and regular telephone contact.

Daily Life of a Franchisee

Our franchisees have a busy and active life. Their day often involves teaching Pyjama Drama, either in public classes or at a nursery or school. Marketing is also a key part of the business, they will drop off leaflets at venues, call in to see prospective nurseries, deliver ‘taster’ sessions at mother & toddler groups, speak to the local newspaper about forthcoming special events, update listings on relevant websites and so on.
