Training

Fast-track management training for franchisees and managers covers the day-to-day running of the business, including financial know-how, Saks computer package, team-building, marketing, recruitment, and health and safety. Training is a combination of classroom, in-salon and at-home. Manuals and DVDs also support the education programme. Saks education is aimed at helping the franchisee drive salon turnover and is delivered to an exceptional standard.

Daily Life of a Franchisee

Saks franchisees have a time plan to work to which involves either working on the salon floor or front of house approximately 3 days per week, holding weekly team meetings, ensuring salon standards are adhered to, completing regular staff appraisals and/or one-to-one meetings, training the team on in-salon client care and procedures, implementing local marketing strategies and salon events, ordering stock, and setting and controlling salon budgets.
