This is a hands-on business opportunity, overseeing operations of your sites:

• Insist on maintaining the highest standards of safety and cleanliness
• Your own loyal team of local employees and managers
• Implement and oversee your staff training, provide them with opportunities for progression
• Drive fuel, energy, food and beverage sales – sharing in the profits
• Additional income streams, for example car washes and local produce

Operations:

• Split your time across your cluster of service stations
• Lead your team of employees – insist on standards and safety
• Motivate, train and support to drive your cluster’s sales
• Collaborate and share experiences with your Shell representative

Shell commit to:

• Successfully on-board you into your business, one service station at a time
• Guide on products, promotions, pricing, systems and processes
• Supply and management of fuels
• Support you to succeed based on best practise and shared experiences
• Set up concession contracts for your sites – profits you can share
• Innovate – introducing new income streams

The journey:

1. You will need at least £88K in a UK bank account to apply, and a further £50K security deposit
2. Two-way conversations and due diligence ensure we’re the right fit for each other
3. A comprehensive 8-week training programme ends with you taking over your first service station
4. Take on another service station every few months after demonstrating success
5. We’re investing in the future and the move to net zero, so your business is ready for this too

As the employer you will be running the business at each of your up to six service stations, sharing in the profits from retail and the fuel sales. Follow the model and with six service stations you can expect average earnings of £60K-£80K annually. And the more profit each service station makes, the more you will earn.
