A Thriving Summer for Husse UK

The UK pet food industry is booming, a 2018 report published by The Pet Food Manufacturers Association (PFMA) confirms a 400,000 rise in the UK dog population which now stands at a staggering 9 million.

Dogs are not the only pets to have moved up the charts, the cat population is at its highest for 5 years and now stands at 8 million.

The largest event attended by Husse was the Bristol DogFest, welcoming over 18,000 visitors over 2 days! Both Husse Bristol South & Husse Weston-Super-Mare were present at events like Weston Rotary Dog Day and the North Somerset Agricultural Society’s 160th North Somerset Show.

The most high profile show attended by Husse was the Dumfries House Fun Dog Show in Scotland. This prestigious annual event attracted over 220 entries across 3 events; The Main Show, The Agility Show and The Doggie Dash. The day attracted a high number of visitors who came to experience the fun and help raise much needed funds for this year’s chosen charity, The Huskies Sledge Dog Rescue.

Our franchisees from Wiltshire took part in the fun packed Chippenham Carnival with our very own Husse Cat making a surprise special appearance!

Across to the county of Hertfordshire where Husse Stevenage attended Codicote Village Day – a marvellous traditional English village fete which includes the ever popular Village Day Parade!

Following the huge success of the Chihuahua Town festival 2017, Husse Wellingborough was once again present at the Chihuahua Town Festival 2018 with an exciting wonderland fun theme to the day!
