Signs Express would like to extend a warm welcome to the newest member of their team, Craig Johnston. Craig is taking on the role of Franchise Recruitment Manager and will be responsible for guiding new franchisee’s into the Signs Express family.

Craig has spent over 25 years helping businesses to establish themselves, 13.5 of these were spent helping a catalogue of pubs – both leased and company owned – to redevelop, often by appointing new owners and managers with the potential to make the business a success.

After over a decade in this field role, he decided to make the switch to the franchise industry, firstly as a Business Development Manager working with franchisees, then on to the recruitment of franchisees for the networks.

Joining Signs Express from Wild Republic – a manufacturer and distributor of stuffed animal toys – where he worked as a Regional Manager, Craig is now taking up the mantle of recruitment again.

Craig is well-versed in the mechanisms of the franchising industry, with 4 years as Franchise Recruiter for golf supplies retailer, Nevada Bobs. Before that, he also spent 5 years in the same position at Prontaprint – the UK’s leading provider of print solutions – where he managed to support the growing numbers of business professionals who wanted to become part of a franchise.

Signs Express has had a series of new appointments in the last few months, which form part of a wider strategy to strengthen its franchisee support system as the long-term goal is to increase the number of franchisees under its brand from 65 to 100. Craig’s role is integral to achieving this and we wish him the best of luck in the position.
