Anytime Fitness, the world’s fastest growing fitness franchise is off to a remarkable start after opening its first club in the UK. Anytime Fitness has 1,400 clubs worldwide, the first UK club opened in Bristol with 670 members, making this the largest membership pre-sale in the history of the franchise.

It was just six months ago that a master franchise agreement was finalised to bring the 24 hour fitness concept to the UK. Lead by Justin McDonell, the Anytime Fitness master franchisee for Australia and New Zealand, and Andy Thompson, a local business entrepreneur.

Membership fees are available at a monthly rate of £25 – £30 per month.

Anytime Fitness has plans to open in Hemel Hempstead early next year, followed by clubs in Staines, Ealing, Basildon, Watford and Leeds. It is expected that within five to seven years, there will be 300 operational clubs in the UK.
