Automotive and Franchising Expert Joins the Revive! Head Office Team

SMART cosmetic repair specialist Revive! saw a 30% increase in turnover during 2009 and the early signs are that 2010 will be even better.

Darren

The volume of work generated by head office for its network during the same period rose by almost 50%. To support and develop the increasing number of technicians the company has appointed Darren Hawkins as business development officer.

Darren (36) has extensive experience within both the automotive and franchise sectors having previously worked for ServiceMaster and Snap-on Tools where he was franchise manager.

Before joining Revive! he worked as a consultant for six months devising and implementing the franchise system for DIY and hardware company, Mica.

At Revive!, Darren will be responsible for supporting the network of technicians by helping them expand their operations in terms of both vehicles and turnover through strategic business planning.

“Revive! is a good fit for me. The company is dynamic and progressive and it’s refreshing to join a company that is happy to give me a free reign to develop the business. I have built up a good deal of experience in multi-van franchises and have an understanding of individual business needs. I look forward to working closely will all of the technicians to help them take their businesses onto the next stage.”

Darren’s predecessor Denzil Evans will be one of the technicians supported by the new manager! After six years in his head office role he could see the benefits of the Revive! business model and decided to invest in his own Revive! territory in Northampton.

Commenting on the appointment Revive! managing director Mark Llewellyn said: “We are delighted that a candidate of Darren’s calibre has decided to join the Revive! team at such an exciting phase of both our own company and the SMART industry as a whole. We are leading the way in helping to drive up standards within SMART cosmetic repair and Darren’s extensive experience will be of great benefit to the network.”

Father of two Darren is married to Sarah and lives in Shepshed, Leicestershire.  His three year old son Harvey is a budding train enthusiast, so most of Darren’s spare time is currently spent on railway platforms!
