The Dog Friendly Awards, held in association with Eurotunnel Le Shuttle, are described as:

“The public’s opportunity to recognise and reward pet and non-pet businesses and places that go the extra mile for the benefit of the UK’s 9.4 million dogs and their owners.”

What are the Dog Friendly Awards?

Founded in 2003, Dog Friendly helps businesses to welcome responsible dog owners. They give members access to the largest database of dog friendly places to visit, safe in the knowledge that their dogs will be as welcome as their owners. Dog Friendly has spent many years working alongside the Kennel Club as part of their Be Dog Friendly campaign to encourage places across the UK to adopt a dog-friendly policy.

The Most Dog Friendly Pet Businesses section of the awards is supported by My Pet People.co.uk, the public-facing website from the Pet Industry Federation (PIF), the UK’s largest trade association for pet businesses. The best dog sitters, dog groomers, dog kennels, dog walkers and pet shop are all chosen by public vote.
