Card Connection Franchises Are Popular Choice

Card Connection announced it has recruited 14 new franchisees to run territories throughout the UK and Ireland in the past six months – three already in 2008.

“Following another hugely successful year, this re-confirms that Card Connection franchises are some of the most sought-after in the industry,” explains Robina Every, managing director of Card Connection. “Due to the attractive nature of the product, the greeting card distribution sector has always been a popular choice amongst potential franchisees. However, in recent times we have seen the demand for Card Connection franchises continue to grow significantly.”

Card Connection – David & Marie ClementsEvery puts this down to: “The established nature and reputation of Card Connection’s business and quality product range, its extensive network of national retail customers but most importantly, that new franchisees make a profit from day one as they are buying an already existing and proven business.”

New joiners to Card Connection’s network of franchisees supplying greeting cards on a consignment basis to more than 15,000 retail outlets countrywide include: David & Cathy Mason in Liverpool, Steve Saunders in Stoke-on-Trent, David & Marie Clements in Cornwall and most recently: Sheila Halewood and Bernard Avis in Southport/ Wigan, Bill & Hilary Davies in Middlesbrough/Darlington and Roy & Catherine Bartle in Newport.

“The franchise market is expanding and there is now an extensive choice of business opportunities available,” Every continues. “However, franchises like Card Connection’s, with realistic, demonstrable income opportunities are the ones that will always tend to attract a lot of interest.”
