Card Connection Launches New Christmas Range

Leading greeting card publisher and franchisor, Card Connection, has announced the launch of its Christmas range for 2010.

Card Connection-1

The brand new selection of greeting cards and gift accessories are currently being despatched to retail outlets throughout the UK and Ireland by Card Connection’s team of franchisees, in-time for the run up to Christmas.

Specifically, this year Card Connection has created new, yet traditional boxed Christmas Card designs with a strong display impact, featuring lots of festive reds, greens and golds. The range includes a hand crafted box pack highlighting a robin in a snowy landscape, a photo based foil box, space efficient humour box, mini, cute and fun boxes plus a great mix of single hand made cards covering open sends and key relations. To compliment the cards, a selection of additional products are also available including money wallets, roll wrap, gift and bottle bags.

“The new Christmas stock underlines our continued commitment to our franchisees and valued retail customers to provide quality greeting cards and accessories for every occasion.” confirms Andrew Cutler, sales and franchise director at Card Connection. “As a franchisor we are always looking for new ways for our franchisees to increase the profitability of their businesses and Christmas is a key time to increase volume sales. We anticipate the new box packs will be particularly popular with retailers as our service allows them to stock the very latest designs on a no-risk basis, where they only pay for what they sell and our franchisees take care of delivery and the merchandising of displays.”

Card Connection franchisees deliver to convenience stores, sub post offices, petrol station forecourts and staff restaurants in large offices. In addition, Card Connection supplies numerous national accounts, which include the likes of Welcome Break, Somerfield, Budgens, Londis, Spar and Shell.

Card Connection has limited vacancies for franchisees who are keen to run an expanding business. Successful candidates would ideally have some management experience as, once established, they would be expected to employ a small team, operate a warehouse and have several liveried vans on the road.

Because the franchise networks in the UK and Ireland are complete, the available opportunities now consist of acquiring an already-established territory from an existing franchisee. These vary in price according to their level of development, but start at £20,000 (+ stock) with earnings potential in excess of £50,000 per annum.
