Cleanhome Welcomes New Franchisees

Cleanhome, a cleaning service which offers clients the peace of mind that comes with knowing that their domestic chores are being handled by reliable cleaners they can trust, welcomes two new franchise owners in East Cambridge and Warwick to the team.

Nicola Pipe, who just established Cleanhome East Cambridge, previously held a sales role in the packaging industry and Cleanhome is her first solo business venture.

Nicola says, “I spent years researching cleaning franchises but Cleanhome’s infrastructure, use of technology and brand really appealed to me. I now have the opportunity to work flexibly and be my own boss.”

Michele Marshall, who runs Cleanhome Warwick, started researching franchises as a semi-retirement option with the aim of achieving a better work-life balance.

She explains, “I have 30 years of experience in the care industry so I know how important it is to know who you’re letting into your home. I really liked Cleanhome’s approach and how they undertake thorough background checks to facilitate a good relationship between the cleaners and the clients.”

Nicola and Michele found that Cleanhome is not only committed to providing their franchisees with an effective business model, but also offering support, advice and an effective, in-depth training programme.

Michele goes on to say, “The training programme gave me the confidence to go out there and sell my business. I have had tremendous support from the Cleanhome team and fellow franchise owners.”

Karen Kelly, Founder and Managing Director of Cleanhome, says, “Our training programme is designed as a working document – which is personal to each franchisee – so they can refer to it in the future if they need to. We balance the essential business information they need with practical role-playing exercises which teach them to feel confident about actually running the business.”
