Just two months in to the business, Scott is already getting word of mouth recommendations and requests for repeat work. Practical skills developed in the army – as well as an interest in restoring vehicles of his own – have given him a good foundation for success. However, he believes it is the support and training from Revive! that have really given him a head start.

 

“It is a bit nerve-wracking setting up your own business and going out to do your first few jobs,” admits Scott. “But when you are part of a good franchise network, you know that you can rely on the training and advice you receive upfront. Even better, there is always someone available on the end of the phone if you have any questions or concerns.”

 

Scott has big plans for his franchise, but initially he wants to master his trade and experience the business from the ground up. He takes pride in his work and has a disciplined approach.

 

“There are always going to be opportunities for a business like Revive!, because people are always going to have scuffs and scrapes on their vehicles,” he says. “My aim is to earn a reputation for offering the best mobile bodyshop service in my region. I plan to do this by focusing on one section of my territory at a time, gradually extending my reach as my skills and confidence improve. In time I will expand the business from ‘one man in a van’ to a fleet of vehicles servicing the full territory.”
