October 2017 sees another Hometyre franchise area joining the network! We’re now covering a large and soon to be expanding part of Norfolk including Norwich and Thetford.

Heading up the business is Darryl, who has plenty of previous experience out on the roads of the county, providing assistance to motorists who had the misfortune of filling their vehicles with the wrong fuel. The Fuel Doctor is a multi van operation owned and run by Darryl’s father, Ian. Sticking with what they know best, providing timely customer service and support on a mobile basis. the father & son team understand the quality of service offered by Hometyre and are keen to grow the brand across the region to compliment the existing operations.

The business launched in October to coincide with National Tyre Safety Month and on the 4th, a Tyre Safety Day was held at a local Tesco Superstore. The event proved a hit with motorists, both shoppers and those who’d read about it in the local press and made their way to the store alike.

With over 85 vehicles inspected on the day, loads of free advice was given, alongside quite a few warnings about current tyre conditions. The most notable fact of the day was the sheer number of vehicles found with significantly reduced tyre pressures. All of these were rectified and a few drivers shown how to go about the process too.
