manufacturing facility in Leicester.

Owned by Andrea Shevloff, the Urmston-based promotional items and corporate clothing specialist is one of the country’s leading providers of name badges already supplying companies including Banner Business Services Ltd, Sodexo Ltd and Elior.

Said Andrea: “Obviously we are delighted to be awarded this contract. Britannia and the Co-operative Financial Services are well respected household names and we’re proud to be involved at such an exciting phase of their growth.

“I believe we won the business because we are far more than just a badge supplier.  Our wealth of knowledge acquired over 20 years of trading means that customers trust us to advise them on the most suitable badge for their needs and we take great care to make sure that all of the products we supply fit the bill. Because we manufacture the badges ourselves we can cater for any quantity from one upwards and as a consequence enjoy a very wide and diverse customer base.”

Commented Clare Irons, membership engagement manager for Britannia:   “We have put a lot of thought into developing the communications strategy for the merger.  Our people will be getting to know hundreds of new colleagues across the combined business and the new badges play an important role in facilitating this.  As the business will be trading under both the CFS and Britannia brands the badges feature both logos while the mouse mats serve as both a good visual reminder as well as a practical desk item for staff.“
