A husband and wife team from Alton-based Recognition Express have taken the helm of a local networking group.

Elspeth and Adrian Simpson have become Hub Managers (Farnham and District) with ‘Refer-On’, a business networking company which meets on Tuesday evenings at Farnham House Hotel, Alton Road, Farnham.

“We felt that, as the group had supported us so well in the past, we’d like to give something back,” said Elspeth, who has been running Recognition Express in Alton with Adrian since 2006.

“The emphasis is on getting to know other members of the group so well that you are able to refer them to other contacts if and when it’s appropriate.”

Elspeth and Adrian, whose business is based in Alton, are responsible for attracting new members to Refer-On, organising meetings, and arranging speakers.
