ActionCOACH business coach Richard Haley admits to really enjoying working with creative companies. In true ActionCOACH style, Richard has composed and produced a new musical Love Beyond over the last 11 years but he attributes its successful completion to the confidence and skills he has gained whilst developing his ActionCOACH franchise business and the time freedom his business has given him.

His musical will star world-class performing artists from West End musicals like Phantom of the Opera and Les Miserables. They will tell the incredible love story of the Bible to audiences across the country.

“My faith is an important part of my life and I wanted to express my understanding of Christianity through this musical. I had been working on the songs and story on and off for the past 11 years but only when I joined ActionCOACH in 2007 did I have the time, flexibility and courage to pull it off. So, I set up the production company for the musical two years ago and am now looking forward to the premier in October.”

With 17 musicians, a 22-strong cast, and a team of 14 creatives, Richard’s musical is a business in its own right. Through ActionCOACH’s extensive initial and ongoing training and through the experience of coaching many business owners over recent years, he has learned the important marketing and sales skills necessary to make his own production company a success. A great example of the application of Richard’s skill and knowledge is the formation of a strategic promotional partnership with the Christian charity Tearfund; Tearfund transforms poverty stricken communities in Africa, Asia, South America, Eastern Europe and also the UK and share a similar target market and values.
