Mac Tools Prominent as BTCC Season Revs Up

The new British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) season is off to a flying start for Adam Morgan and his Mac Tools-sponsored Ciceley Motorsport car, with the driver second in the standings after the first two events of the year.

Morgan took second place in Race 3 of the first meeting at Brands Hatch and followed that up with a win in Race 3 earlier this month at Donington Park. He’s now just seven points from pole position in the race for the BTCC title.

The strong performance is set to boost Mac Tools franchisees, who benefit from widespread coverage across television and online channels during the BTCC season and can attend races with key customers. Mac Tools has several exclusive partnerships that see the brand regularly appearing prominently on TV programmes such as Car SOS and other national media.

Lesley Cobb, Franchise Recruitment and Operations Manager for Mac Tools, attended the season’s first race. She said: “It’s an exhilarating day, you really get to see the speed of the cars and the skills of the drivers in a different light when you’re there. It was amazing seeing Adam secure two top-six finishes and we can’t wait for the rest of the season.

“Marketing is so important for every business, and our brand power is a key benefit of being a Mac franchisee. We’re proud to align the Mac brand with Ciceley Motorsport. It helps franchisees win new business and reflects the quality of the products they sell.

“As part of Stanley Black & Decker, we provide franchisees with the best of both worlds: the power of the world’s biggest tool manufacturer, combined with the passion and personalised guidance of our regional managers and wider support team.”

The next BTCC race weekend takes place at Thruxton on 19 & 20 May.
